Public Works Week, Awards Luncheon - May 23, 2013
The Utah Chapter of APWA is a non-profit association representing all facets of public works including fleets, streets, utilities, sanitation, engineering, and administration. We stand behind our members of the public works community. Each person working as the guardian over public services and infrastructure.

During this luncheon, you'll hear about the best of the best in our organization. We will give away three awards including:

• G. Mark Morrison Award - This individual demonstrates his/her dedication and accountability as a public servant. They go beyond their regular job duties and requirements. They are willing to work beyond the bounds of a job description to make their community a better community.
• Project of the Year - The project of the year recognizes the community, the project, the designer and the contractor. The project serves the public need, presents an innovative concept and design and results in a quality product.
• Member of the Year - This individual works to better the organization and supports the mission and goals through his/her actions.

The luncheon will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, the Gathering Place, 11:30 am

APWA Golf - May 22, 2013
This is the last week to get your foursome together!! foursomes are still being accepted, but you must register by the end of this week.

We have 18 hole sponsors, 120 golfers, and $2000 worth of golf prizes, including a 55-inch Samsung LED TV. Avoid the long line and the taunting of the Riddler, get your raffle tickets online today!! Mulligans are limited to 4 per foursome, and will likely take 2 strokes off of your game (i.e. one club length, one free stroke, one par, etc.

The Golf Tournament will be held at the Bountiful Ridge Golf Course
Check in: 7:00
Shotgun: 8:00

Registration, sales for raffle tickets and mulligans will stay open until noon on May 21.

Standards and Specifications
The 2012 APWA Standards and Specifications PDF is now available for purchase.
Purchase Processing:
After your payment has been made and your membership to the Utah Chapter of APWA is validated, you will then receive information on how to download one PDF version of the Standards and Specifications for your organization. Please allow 24-48 hours for your membership to be verified. If your membership is not verified, the Utah Chapter of the APWA will refund the $100 charge to the same card charged.

Terms & Conditions:
Purchaser agrees that you will not share this electronic pdf version of the Utah Chapter of APWA plans and specifications with anyone that will use it for anything other than work related to your personal organization. By purchasing the pdf you agree that your organization and anyone with whom these plans are shared from my organization will not post either the plans or specifications online in any form. Sections and plan drawings may be posted on-line only in part when included with project plans or specifications. Purchaser agrees that the APWA plans and specifications will not be modified in any way when used except by special provision separate from what is represented as the Utah Chapter of APWA published material.
