Recap - Public Works Week, Awards Luncheon
For their dedication in service and contributions to their community, The Utah Chapter of Public Works recognized the following:

G. Mark Morrison Public Employee Award - David Naylor from West Jordan City
Project of the Year - McGhie Springs, Murray City (Owner), Bowen Collins (Designer), Whitaker Construction (Contractor)
Member of the Year - Kevyn Smeltzer, PE (Salt Lake County), Chapter Treasurer

Recap - APWA Golf Tournament and Scholarship Fundraiser
We had a record breaking turn-out at this year's golf tournament! There were18 hole sponsors and raised over $6000, which will go toward student scholarships. Several participants won prizes and one lucky golfer won a 55-inch television!
Mark your calendar, next year's event will be held the third week in May.

Purchase Processing:After your payment has been made and your membership to the Utah Chapter of APWA is validated, you will then receive information on how to download one PDF version of the Standards and Specifications for your organization. Please allow 24-48 hours for your membership to be verified. If your membership is not verified, the Utah Chapter of the APWA will refund the $100 charge to the same card charged.

e-Book is now available for purchase.
By purchasing the e-book format, purchaser agrees that they will not copy, nor distribute a copy of the APWA Plans and Specifications in e-book format to any individual or organization. They recognize that this document can only be purchased from the Utah Chapter of the American Public Works Association. They agree that they will only use the plans and specifications for work related to their company or organization. Furthermore, they agree that they will not modify the APWA Plans and Specifications except by a separate special provision that is not represented as APWA published material.

Purchaser agrees that you will not share this electronic pdf version of the Utah Chapter of APWA plans and specifications with anyone that will use it for anything other than work related to your personal organization. By purchasing the pdf you agree that your organization and anyone with whom these plans are shared from my organization will not post either the plans or specifications online in any form. Sections and plan drawings may be posted on-line only in part when included with project plans or specifications. Purchaser agrees that the APWA plans and specifications will not be modified in any way when used except by special provision separate from what is represented as the Utah Chapter of APWA published material.
