Description :

Best Practices for Specifying and Procuring Spray-Applied Pavement Preservation Treatments

This luncheon session will review practices and specific actions cities and counties in Utah can take to ensure that they are getting their desired and specified pavement preservation treatment. This presentation will review strategies and new tools available to cities and counties to educate themselves on preservation treatments and the best way to procure the desired treatment for their application.

Speaker: Reed Ryan, UAPA

Speaker Bio: Prior to joining UAPA in 2012 as the association’s first executive director, Reed worked in Washington, D.C. as a Legislative Aide to Senator Orrin Hatch and as a Public Affairs Specialist to the Office of Public and International Affairs for the LDS Church. He has a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University and a JD from The George Washington University. Originally from the mountains of Colorado, Reed enjoys the outdoors, playing golf, and fly-fishing. As a bit of a sports polygamist, the Denver Broncos, BYU Football, the Washington Nationals, and the Utah Jazz continually disappoint him. However, he finds great joy in raising three sons and a daughter with his wife of seventeen years.

Thank you UAPA for co-sponsoring this event.
