The Rose Park Jordan River Watershed Project is a model for sustainable design. This presentation will discuss general storm water concerns and walk you through how Salt Lake City Public Utilities is working to reduce human impacts to the stormwater world. We’ll cover ideas and concepts that go beyond just cleaning up the water. This project is designed to be used as an educational tool and an on-the-ground demonstration of things that can be done to help restore balance in the stormwater world.
Paul Taylor has 35 years of experience in municipal design projects. He has over 16 years of experience working as a City Engineer or Assistant City Engineer for multiple communities. He has served on the Specifications Committee of the Utah Chapter of the American Public Works Association and as Past Chair of the Utah Stormwater Advisory Committee.
