Over the last few years, the Board of Directors has worked to update our Chapter bylaws. Recently changes were approved by APWA National organization and the membership. Changes have since been implemented, they areare:
• Chapter President, President-Elect, and Past President serve 2 year terms. It was determined, based on experience, that to be more effective the Executive Committee should serve a two year term.
• Position of Vice-President was eliminated. APWA National recommends chapters have a Vice-President and President-Elect. We saw the two positions as a duplication and chose to eliminate the Vice-President position for our chapter.
