The Utah APWA Executive Committee would like to extend a sincere thank you to Brent Ventura for his service as the President of the APWA Utah Chapter. Now that his term is over, we want to share our gratitude and appreciation for the time and effort that he put into helping our Association over the past few years. We look forward to seeing Brent at future APWA events and wish him the best of luck in this next chapter of his career.
We would also like to congratulate our new President, Tyler Shelley, Chief Engineer for Sandy City, as he begins his two-year term. Tyler has been serving as the President-Elect and is looking forward to building upon the foundation built over the years by previous Presidents and Directors. Tyler will work closely with the new President-Elect, Jason Allen, Director of the Mountain States Concrete Pipe Association, as they look for ways to improve and grow our Chapter throughout the state of Utah.
We would also like to welcome our newest Board Member, Justin Anderson, Deputy Public Services Director and City Engineer for Ogden City. Justin brings 18 years of experience in the civil engineering and public works industry to the Board, along with a unique perspective of the needs of cities outside of the Salt Lake Valley. We look forward to working with Justin moving forward.
