The Utah Chapter of APWA supports community events and affiliation with other public works and engineering organizations. As an annual opportunity, we support the continuous effort of Engineers Without Borders – organized through Utah State University.
What is Engineers Without Borders (EWB)?
Engineers Without Borders is a dedicated group of volunteers who make change in the world by working with developing communities to meet their basic needs. By combining technical skill and knowledge with compassionate outreach, we are making a difference wherever we go!
Each year they work toward the delivery of utility projects that overall will help a community with health, welfare, and quality of life. They meet on a regular basis and would appreciate the help of professional engineers. Professionals can contribute through monetary donations, collaborative efforts, quality reviews of projects, or support and labor to build. Each project is very rewarding!!
